I really did not like this story because he was sad because he did not have tradition. In the end of the essay he said that it was better not to have tradition. I think that he is wrong tradition are what you family has past down from generation to generation. I an not saying that you can't change them not break them. You can better them so that can help your family grow stronger.

The Fable for Tomorrow

This story talks about two different places. One of the places is the most beautiful place that you have seen. Everything in this place of perfect. The other places is the opposite. Everything there it bad. The animal are sick and dieing. In this place the sun does not show. The doctor don't know what is making the people sick. The sickness are for everyone in the town. The birds can't fly.Also some of the birds can't sing.

Chase was written by Annie. She was playing with her friends in a winter day. They would hitting the car with snowballs. There was only one car that stop ant it was a black Buick. When the play black Buick stop all of them frozen because they though that car was not going to stop. So all of them divided themselves and went different street. The author and a friend of her would run for a lot of street. The man from the black Buick was running after them. All three of them run for a lot of street. They all street of them stop the man from the Buick did not tell them anything.

why we crave horror movie

I think that king is right. He as human like to think that their is some thing bigger then us in life. He like to get scared because it makes life more fun. We also like to know that we can survive anything that will hurt of. Horror bring out the worst inside of us. In the horror movie you she that the main character those thing that are out of character. Also you like to imagen that if you would put in that situation that you would survive. The Hanging

The hanging was written by a soldier in a prison. He felt bad when he was taking a prisoner to his died. He start to talk about the prison and the soldier that would caring for the prisoner.Their was four next to the prisoner. The soldier felt bad for the prisoner. He had never though of the prisoner as person. He saw them like a thing. He was one of the soldier taking the prisinor to his death, he saw something that change his mind. She saw that the prisinor was a person like him and feel the bad thing to . It was when the prisinor jump over a hole of water.

I think that she is dating to much and has to focus on one. If she know that this are not the guys that can be the one them why date them. She is wasting her time and the other guys time to. She has to find the one she likes and date him. She is trying to find love and at the end the only thing that she is going to find is a heartbreak. She has to let her friend go because he has a girl and she would not like if a other girl was to go what she is going to that guy.

Holocaust

The Holocaust hurt the Jewish people a lot in my opinion. The holocaust happen in Russia that was lead by the Nazi party. Most of the Russian people had no idea that something so bad as the Holocaust was happen in their town. Hitler.He believe that the perfect race was the Russian and had light eyes with blond hair. The weird thing is that he was even close of being the perfect race that he wanted. The Nazi party would put Jew in camp. In this camp the would get killed by the soldiers. The Nazi party would killed at the Jew that had important career. Then the other Jew that were not as important could put into concentration camp. The children would get divided from family and man and wife would all so get separated. After everything was over more people die because for them it was to late.

Grant and Lee

This two great man in two different way. This two great mens have different points of views. Both of them thought that their way were the rigth way and that way the fought so hard for. In my opinion one of the best thing that humanity has done is to make the lie detector. People thing that is the worst thing in the world but is not. Neat people and Sloppy people

I like to think that I am both.I don't like to be perfect every time is no fun. The people that are always neat never have fun. They are always under pressure to be the best in everything. I used to be one of those up tied person but got to tired of always going the best and being the best.I think that people should be both because one without the other is not the same. There has to be a balances that people should have. I am not telling you that go crazy but ones in a while go fishing,ask the person u like on a date, go and play a game of baseball or something. I think that you should have fun in what you are doing and do it for yourself.

Slice of life

this story has to do with a turkey. It tell you how you should cut the turkey. There are you ways two ways to look at this story. The first way is that the author has anger management problem. He does not know how to deal with his problem and it taking it out on the turkey. My second theory is that he really like Thanking Giving and the best part for him is to deal with the turkey. I think that is a little of both. She get to happy to deal with the turkey. I think he need to get a hobby that he like better or go to anger management what ever make him happy but do same thing.

Colloge Pressures

I have to say that one of my worst pressure in life is family and Friend. Life is so boring maybe because it was not the experinces that I wanted out of college. I hate that my dream did not come true. One of my dream was to get a college scholarship. I have to say that I have a lot of different pressure. I have to said that most of my pressure came from my moral. I am divided in to two world my world and my family. This two world have so much to pressure that it scary some time. My friends tell me one thing and my family tell me a other. I don't know which world to live in. I have to play with them. Is so hard some time. I wish that I could bring them together but that is not going to have because that is life and I can't do anything. Some time I am tired and give up on life.

Pearl Harbor was the second big war that the United State of America has been in. Most on my information that I have of Pearl Harbor was giving to me by movie and of what teacher have said. Pearl Harbor took place in in Hawaii,Hanalulu.The army did not want to have the ship there because the water was very shallow water. Benifit of having the ship there was that if anything was to happen they were close to the Pacific Ocean and the ship could sail to where they were need.United State of America knew that the Japans where acting weird but the decided to ignored it ,and that what really hurt them. They had information that the Japans ship where in the right places and did not pay attentions to it. Most of the United State ship where in Hawaii in Oahu and Honolulu. The sealer had no idea what was going to happen to they this morning. Most of the sealer would sleep or out with there family.Oahu and Honolulu where good places to place the ship because the island Franklin D. Roosevelt was scared that Germany was taking to much power over the other country. The president of the United State of America was scared that Germany was going to attack America. Roosevelt saw a way to help Great British. When Great British get help from America the would very happy because Germany was about to destroy them. Roosevelt saw a way that would benefit both country. Great British would fight and America could be the hero with out choosing a side. In August 1941 America decide to become alliances with England. Italy was also with the United State of America but betrayed America and went back with Japan, Germany and other European country. America said that it was going to have war again Germany, Japan, Italy, and other ally of them that where European country. American and Japan problem started before world war II , it start with world war I. America saw Japan became powerful in the pacific ocean , and building it army. America saw Japan as a threat to America way of life. Both of the had rocky relationship but knew that had to act like if not happen. After Japan decided to attack Indochina all relationship with America broke of. Our president knew the only way to hurt Japan was by the economy. Our president decided to freeze all deals that both country had together. What really hurt Japan economy was the oil that was being sold by America to them. Japan did not like the action that America took with them , so they decided to attack on Pearl Harbor. Japan did not thing about there next step that causes the death of a lot of innocent people. Japan decided to do a surprise attack to Pearl Harbor where the USA military was at. Japan attack with 353 aircraft and sank down four Navy Battle Ship, three cruiser, three destroyers ,and one mine layer. Japan attack on a Sunday morning on December 7,1941. Most of the sailor would sleeping in the ship and other where sleeping with there family. The main Japanese captain know that what they would going to hurt Japan in the end and not help it. Japan soldier kill 2,402 and hurt 1,282. the ship were sank with people in them . After Japan aircraft left people would running to help soldier that would trap in the ship.
Their was to much people trap in the ship and not a lot of people to help them escape. You could hear the soldier screaming for help inside the ship. Some soldier got out and for other it was to late. Some of the soldier family decided to leave their love once in the ship and let them rest in peace. In August 1945 America decided to get back at Japan and send one nuclear bomb in Hiroshima, Japan. Then three days past and send the second nuclear bomb to Nagasaki. Thrutch website said that there was about 300,000 death of civilians killed. In my opinion I would had done the same action that America did.Like a person said an "eye for a eye and a tooth for a tooth." Whoever made that quote was a very smart man.

Kim II-Sung was the president pf North Korea. Before he became a president he was Prime Minister from 1948 to 1972. After he died he son took this places as the president of North Korea. The son that took his place was Kim Jong-il as the president of North Korea. He had two wifes. His first wife was Kim Jong-Suk. She died after giving birth to daughter. She died at the age of 31 years old. She was the mother to the son that took his father place that was Kim Jong-il. She meet Kim II-Sung in China that both were working in Young Communist League of Korea. Both of them were young and had a more wedding. Her parent were poor farmer. She diead in september 22,1949. The second wife of Kim II Sung was Kim Song Ae. They married in 1952. Their wedding was not normal because of World War II. Their ceremony was very small and intimate. Only close family member were in the wedding. There was rumores that they had been having a affair before his first wife death. It was just rumores nothing was prove to be right. She had two sons and one daughter. The daughter name was Kim Kyong-Jin and the sons names were Kim Pyong-il and Kim Yong-Il. Kim II Sung had five children. Kim II Sung was born in Heilo, Japanese in April 15,1912 and died in July 8,1994. He had to younger brother Ch'Ol-Chu and Yong-Ju.His family was middle class but more going to the poverty side. His parents were very religiouse and both were tie with the church. His grandfather was Protestant Minister. At the age of fourteen his father past away. He was also put in prison twice in his life time because he was a Marxist. Then in 1935 he joining a group Anti-Japanese United Army. In this group he saw a man that become his mentor that was name Wei Zhengmin. At the same time change his name to Kim II Sung that means becoming the Sun . I found this in wikipedia. The name that his parent have him was Kim Sung-Ju. A man name Grigory Mekler think that this Kim II Sung second name was giving to him by the Soviet Union. He moved up in rank very easy. At the age of 24 he had become a commander of the 6th division. Later the division change the name to Kim II Sung division. He became president in december 28,1972. His gold as a president was to bring North Korea back to the gold ages. He wanted all society classses to be equal, that there would be not differents of society. When he got the president North Korea was in bad state. He decided the only way he could do this by seeing what the people need . He eliminated all class society. He used heavy industry ans arm producton to bring there economany up. In 1982 there was fear that Kim wanted war but it was not truth. Nothing happen it was rumores that were not truth. After his 70 birthday Kim II Sung started to have calcium deposit. Calcium deposit was from having bad nutrition as he was a child. It was growing it in the neck by the spinal cord. It could not be operated. When he had to take picture it would be in a special angle that would not show it. He did not wanted people to know about his disease. It was the size of basball. This most most of his life as a preisent,husband, and father.

Why Don't We Complain

I think that the author opinion is not truth. I have live in the United State most of my life and there is always some one that is not afraid to speak there mind. I am one of those person. In Hialeah where a live people don't care what you think of them. They know that they have the freedom to say what the want and are not scared to fight for their right. If one of the people that I know had been it the train I am should that they would have told someone to open the window. I think that people where tired and didn't want to my any problem,so they decided to work with what they had. Also no one was getting hurt or were getting killed. There was not problem the author is just mixing his bad day with little thing. He would have said something to the waiter in the bar that was in the train. They would have done somthing to make him feel better. He wanted everyhting to be perfect and life is not . They have to think less of himself and thing about the other people in the train.

Marrying Absurd

I think that everyone has the right to pick there own wedding. You may think that a wedding in Los Vegas has no meaning but for some people have no other way. A wedding take a lot of money and is for one day. That money that u have save for the wedding can be used to buy furniture or for your dream home. A know that every little girl dream with a big wedding or something like it but everything doesn't alway come out the way you hoped it. I thing aslong was you are getting marreid with the person you love you have not problem. The wedding can be in the worst neighborhood and you be find because you have th person you love new to you. Your wedding can be in Los Vegas or in Florida as long as the couple love another u have not problem. You can plan your wedding for a year and then there is a person that plan it in a week and u get divorde in a month and the other couple are as happy as the first day they meet. All that planing and all that money was wasted and you married has fail. All that you have now to show is some picture that when you look at them , it remainding you off your failer married. If you even have the picture because maybe you burned them at of sadness. The couple that got married are happy and have a strong married. What I am trying to say is that where your wedding take place it does not matter.

The Way to Rainey Mountain.

This story has to do with a grandson that has lost his grandmother and part of himself. He and his grandmother like in Oklahoma. His grandmother lived in the west of the Wichita range and she was Native-America and she was apart of the Kiowas. He author feel that he has lost his culture as well as his grandmother. The only link that he had to his culture was his grandmother and know she is done to a better world what ever that means. He never knew anything about his culture but the store that his grandmother told him. Once he saw his grandmother praying in a language that was not know to him. He knew that he was listening to her in her language. the last time he saw her he could tell that it was going to be the lost time. What i don't understand is why did he learn the language. If he wanted to learn the language he would have. In my opinion he did not wanted to learn. It was easy for him to think that he would not learn and the took the easy round. If I was in his shoes I would have done my best to learnthe language and teach it to my children. I would not let my culture get lost because of my dumb self. I think that if he would had ask his grandmother to teach him. She would have love to teach her was to her grandson. People are never going to learn more about the Kiowas. I culture that is now going to be forgotten

The story that I am going to talk about is Salvation. This store has to do with a young boy name Langton. He has lost his grandmother and his mother has left him to find work. Langton father has left him and move to Mexico. After Langton grandmother died he move into his aunt and uncles house. Langton aunt is a serious religious woman. Langton uncle is a good man that try to help and guide Langton. My favorite character in this story is the uncle because he does not try to push his believe to Langton. He help him with his problem but he know that boy has to pick his destiny. In my opinion the aunt has lost her mind. In everything she does or say , she has to talk about god. She think more about god than her husband. She does not see that with her obsession with god is hurting one of her loved once. I think that if she was to think more about there family and less about god that would help Langton out more
